Easiest way I know to measure that current (if power is supplied through the
coax) is to
set your handy, accurate pocket meter on CURRENT, 50-100 mA range. Place
one lead in socket of the F-Connector you just removed the signal coax from
and the other lead on the wire tip of the coax. Hold the coax connector
ground shell to the jack's ground, for circuit continuity.
