[TZ] From Rolf, Elevated radials

Nothing can touch the elevated radials as there will be very high voltage at certain points. Especially the ends. Especially at 40kw. Think mega electric fence...

In this case, pull them out laying on the ground and hold your breath. Either the copper thieves will come visiting OR the tree huggers will stir up a stink about "copper toxicity" or the HV will set the "field" on fire.

Some whacko in a lather about "copper toxicity" has stopped a large ground system project for me right now. They have finally decided that coated wire will be OK as long as NO copper is in contact with the soil or their precious wetland weeds.

I have a small, walk behind plow thing that will bury wire a few inches in decent soil but tree roots and rocks make life miserable.

Give me a call if you want to discuss but I fear that the options are pretty limited now.

Regards,
