Argentinian History:
The first station in Argentina was LR2, which opened on August 27,
1920. The program included the broadcast of an opera. It was one of the first
broadcast operas in the world.
A wonderful article by Carlos Altgelt detailing the history
of Argentinian radio is available. It is better than
anything I could do.
