The Collins 21B/L was produced beginning in 1947
|
|
This 21B was the auxiliary at WSM for many years. |
| The 21L was the 10 kW version. |
The Collins 21E/M developed a reputation as a workhorse transmitter. Many 21Es are still in use.

The 21E was contained in three cabinets.

The 21M - the 10 kW version of the 21E had two PA tubes. Otherwise it was essentially the same transmitter. |
Our thanks to Dave Hultsman for his recollections and help in gathering pictures and information.
